The Buddhist Kingdom of Bhutan lies along the lofty ridges of the eastern Himalayas, bordered by China (Tibet) and the Indian states.
Bhutan rapidly became one of the world’s most exclusive tourist destinations, since opening its doors to tourism in 1974. The country still retains all the charm of the old world, therefore travellers can experience the full glory of this ancient land as embodied in its monastic fortresses, ancient temples, monasteries and stupas.
The Obvious Choice offers you a journey of beauty, bliss and blessings, through the Happiness Kingdom of Bhutan. This 8 nights and 9 days’ journey kick-starts in Paro and continues through Thimpu, Punaka, Gangtey and Bumthang. From Bumthang we head back to Paro. Highlights include the Bumthang Festival and a mountain flight from Bumthang to Paro. OBVIOUSLY, BHUTAN, is a photographer’s dream come true, with its endless opportunities to capture great landscapes, local cuisines and culture as you get to visit the Bhutanese villages and interact with the locals.
